People in Bhaktapur enjoy festivals wholeheartedly throughout the year. The major festivals celebrated are Biskaa, Gaijatra, Holi, Dashain and Tihar. One can observe these festivals very close from Krishna House.
Kathmandu valley, the valley of seven UNESCO World Heritage sites is the perfect seat for gaining knowledge about Hinduism and Buddhism. Five of these sites: Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath and Pashupatinath are located within 15 to 18 km from Krishna’s - just about 40 to 45 minutes drive away. The other two: Bhaktapur Durbar Square is within 5 minutes of walking distance and that of Changu Narayan only 6 km away.
Siddha Pokhari, a 12th century scenic historical water tank popular for morning and evening strolls is just few seconds away.
